Our History
Mediation Solutions Northwest has recently been established to provide a mediation service in the North West of Ireland. The Association was founded by people who practise in the area of dispute resolution. Lawyers, accountants and doctors, in particular, felt that there was a need to promote mediation as an alternative dispute resolution process. The Association, however, has membership from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including, in addition to the above, architecture and engineering, industry and construction.
The first meeting to set up the Association was held on the 1st October 2009. The Association consists of members who are accredited mediators. The objectives of the Association are to promote mediation and educate both the public and professionals about its benefits.
