Eamonn M Gallagher
Eamonn M Gallagher is a practising Solicitor on a general practice for twenty five years, having qualified as a Solicitor in 1984. He is a member of a two-partner firm “Rochford Gallagher & Co”, This firm has been in existence for over sixty years having been established by Eamonn’s late father in 1944.
Eamonn initially qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UCD and then qualified with a Diploma in Legal Studies. From there, Eamonn attended the Law Society and qualified as a Solicitor in 1984 when he joined the family firm as a Partner. Since qualifying as a Solicitor, Eamon has carried out further studies and is the holder of a Diploma in Property Tax and in 2009 qualified as an Accredited Mediator.
While the firm of Rochford Gallagher & Co are engaged in general legal practice, Eamonn’s specialties deal mainly with litigation, probate, commercial and conveyancing matters and he has an expertise in property tax having undertaken and successfully completed the Diploma in Property Tax organised by the Law Society.
Eamonn’s experience as a Solicitor in general practice and his many and varied involvements in local community matters has placed him in a position where he has vast experience in dealing with conflicts which can arise between parties or organisations. His philosophy on mediation is very simple. “My function as a mediator is to ensure that all parties to the dispute have the best possible opportunity of achieving a settlement of the issues between them on terms which are satisfactory to all parties so as to avoid costly litigation”.
